I don't even have the privilege of owning bf3, and some ungrateful idiots are spamming the whole forum with complaints about a couple of bugs and glitches, that are present in EVERY GAME ON PLANET EARTH, and state that the game is totally unplayable online. Now let's try to think of a solution...... Oooooohh idea!! Play the f#cking single player campaign. If that doesn't satisfy you, go play your stupid tetris and give the game to someone who appreciates it.

lol so you think its ok to spend money on a game that was tested with an open beta and then launches with the same bugs, not to mention the lag on the 64 player maps ect ect...

You my friend are the ungrateful idiot.

But I had a feeling about RAGE.

And the 64 map server was lag free during the BETA. Actually I'm going to try find a 64 player server now to see how much it really lags.

I'm going to lol hard of MW3 comes out with less if any at all issues VS BF3 ;)

But it won't or rather shouldn't, I mean it's a tried and tested engine, not a brand spanking new one. On topic though, if I catch anyone pulling one of these stunts I will bitch slap them through their screen. :p

On a side note, I just had the best game of rush ever, I was thoroughly owning with the tank. :D

Try the iGame servers, I had no lag on them this evening.

Beginning to think holding out on BF3 for a while was a good idea lol. Everyone's at eachothers throats.

Take it eeeeeassssy. :O

Reading this post actually made my IQ drop a few points. Owning BF3 is not a privilege. Any old fool with R400 in his pocket can do so. And if these developers want our money, they should accept that we will moan about things we are dissatisfied with. It doesn't do to just sit back and say 'go play the SP'.

Yeah the above is some sound advice.

The game is awesome, the smaller maps are still a lot of fun, but for me there are still to many issues that need sorting before this game will have a perm home in my heart.

To each their own.

Ok before I make you all my life-long enemies then, let me just apologize for my post above, it wasn't well thought out, I was in a bad mood and a little stressed out. And let me just explain a bit further: I can't afford bf3 at the moment, 500mb data cap per month is all I have so playing online is only something I can do once in a while, so play SP campaigns most of the time and have come to appreciate good story lines etc etc. so for me, a game like bf3 will be a privilege to just play on single player, and to play it online is something I will only be able to do somewhere late next year or so. So just be thankful you guys have the game and all. As for the bugs and glitches, all games have them, and most of them will be patched up eventually. All good things (usually) comes to those who wait.

All I can say is DO NOT buy the game for the SP. I finished it last night and was quite disappointed with it.

Wow for a game that took so long to develop and caused so much hype sure has lots of problems and errors. Most headlines i read with BF3 has the words "fix" or "going to fix"

Every game has their own share of bugs every patch or on release. Seems like everytime they add something new or fix a bug some new bug appears.

This right here is what gets to my very sensitive fuse... Just the blatant way in which people accept faulty products in the gaming industry.

What would you do if you brought a brand-new car, and find out once you get home that the doors can only open from the outside?
What would you do if you brought a new Kettle and the only way to switch it on is to insert 16 paper clips in a certain pattern beneath it's heating element?
What would you do if you brought a new shaving razor and upon opening the package you find that the blades given only fit on the razor if attached front-to-back, making shaving impossible?

You would throw your shit all over the place and demand a refund, that's what you would do!
Why do we just accept this shit in games?!

Like I've said in another thread some few minutes ago: a couple of minor glitches is one thing. Fine my car came in blue instead of maroon.
But when the thing you just paid for has issues that relate to the very core of the product, why is it "fine" in games?

I'm getting really pissed at the attitude that this has garnered between gamers; even more so than the actual issues themselves!

some guys have all the fun or not!,
I only hear about these cheats, and have to run around like a chicken without a head to build up my points....

ah this thread seems to be getting abit "hot" over here so let me just come out and say the following:

Are there bugs? yes, absolutely i have had one or two the worst being the PB/Terhan highway issue, the lag is quite bad. I had the privilege of playing BF3 for iGame from Tuesday and in the space of 2/3 days the change has been phenomenal, as i understand the servers are already on their 5th patch so although yes there are bugs bugs perhaps DICE shouldn't have missed? Who knows, im not going to come out and say yes they should not have missed this or yes that, as a programmer even I wont come out and make statements, the ball game and sheer magnitude of the BF3 development was more than likely huge and Whenuis is right we shouldn't accept it but the variables of creating such a game is huge and the only reason im not upset is due to the fact that DICE are actively working with RSP's to solve all these issue (as i said patch #5 on servers already)

Speaking to Xero the other night on TS was an interesting one, what i thought i knew was not even close, after hearing what he had to say all i can say is if only any of you knew half of the stuff that's going behind the scenes you would change your tune fast. It is an absolute insult to DICE to even remotely compare Black ops launch to BF3 launch, Blops had FRAME lag thats how poorly it was developed, at least on PC. Its amicable that DICE are actively working to fix these issues.

As for the lag on 64 player, i have only ever noticed it on MWEB/WAGE and its not their fault 99% of the time, i see Russians and all sorts of other foreign players in the server speaking some other lingo, that in itself effects the entire server. As joker said, each to their own. Some people may get very upset with their car being the wrong colour for instance, others may be more chilled. Its the level of acceptability thats important, IMO DICE are well within those levels :)
