Not so sure about that. If I didn't have kids to ground me then I would probably weigh 180kgs, play MMOs 12 hours of every day and have no life. With kids I have half of all of the above PLUS the hope of a granny cottage add on to my rich kid's house one day ;-P

Played in the Beta weekend this last weekend!
I had the chance to play in the open Beta this last weekend (it was opened to everyone who applied to beta-test through their forum). It was thanksgiving in the States so the beta lasted 4 days!
I must say that I was very impressed with the game-play and story. I couldn't stand WOW and dumped it after 2 months. This I might actually play for a while.
The best thing about the game is that there is a definite story for each character. So you have a reason to play and progress. It's almost like 8 single player games set in a MMO environment.
I only got to lvl 14 by last night so don't have any idea how the mid/end game content works.
I will definitely be buying this when it gets released here.

Loads of Discussion about this on the ToR Forums. So far SA has not been brought up but other countries also not in the previous launch regions have discussed this at length. It seem we cannot pre-order but on release date you can buy a normal key from the origin store.
Hopefully this works. My plan B involves my EVE corp CEO buying it in Amsterdam and sending me the key.
