Well it's finally official-GTA 5. I want to know which GTA you enjoyed most and why?

I choose GTA 4. I can't remember playing GTA 3 and Vice City. I have GTA:SA but I keep dying, and I don't like the whole "hood" and "gangsta" theme. GTA 4 had a great story, great gunplay and I liked Niko.

i enjoyed GTA 3 the most,it was the first GTA game i played and i was amazed at all i could do.

All the other GTA games were great too.

I actually bought the GTA complete pack on steam about 2-3 weeks back to enjoy them all over again.

The best of the oldschool GTA games would be GTA1 by far.

But to me personally the best GTA game is GTA Vice City. Yeah it's small and rather short, but it had atmosphere and just that little something that I didn't get from any other GTA game. Sure San Andreas was huge and had lots of content, and GTA4 had just about everything you can think of, but there was just something to Vice City. From the Radio Stations, to the Setting, the missions, it was just superb, still is.

San Andreas. did not have fun with the main character the whole og thing got repetitive.

I loved the locations in it and the missions where so much fun.

San Andreas, the sheer size of the game combined with the things you could do in it was simply unheard of at the time in a video game, I mean big worlds in video games weren't uncommon, but they were usually restricted to RPG's, this game showed that sandbox titles can offer a huge world, with plenty of things to do. Another problem when extraordinarily large maps are made for games is that you begin to wander around with nothing to do, if you're going to make it big, make it worthwhile too, and that's what San Andreas did. Every area had a purpose, like how the desert was actually used for flight school and all those things. Brilliant piece of work! As was all the other GTA's to be quite frank.

I liked all of them, but I voted for San Andreas simply because there was so much fun stuff you could do. I could spend hours doing stupid things like linking a bunch of tractors together to make a tractor train and see how far I could get before they all fall over. In fact I was very disappointed that you couldn't do anything like this in GTA 4

Vice City was the best by far. The soundtrack was incredible and the setting and atmosphere captured the whole "Miami" vibe down to a tee! Loved it! and loved Vice City Stories on my PSP as well :-)

San Andreas. Spent most of my time trying to land the lear jet on ever smaller rooftops. For some reason that was epic fun.

It's that variety that was so amazing, plus it had one helluva epic story, with my favorite characters from a GTA game in Wu Zi Mu, The Truth and Mike Toreno (brilliantly voiced by James Woods).

I would have to say Vice City was my best GTA. As mentioned the above the character, setting, radio stations just felt right. If I had to choose which one comes in second place... I would have to choose all the remaining GTA's, because all of them was that good.

I liked GTA 4 the most.
I liked the story and the character they used quite a bit, not a big gangsta fan. Vice city comes in at a close second though, also loved that one.

San Andreas, from start to finish that game was just pure epic fun with endless amounts of stuff for you to see and do!
