Really? I mean really really? I can see how it is an attempt to recreate the success of friends but I left about two seasons ago and the ratings have started to slump considerably. Barney is about the only likeable character. The others are just pretty meh.

Watch "The Walking dead" both seasons and follow it up with the comic books.
GREAT way to waste away the holidays.
PS: Watch the TV series 1st, or you'll spoil it for yourself. It's storyline is loosely based on the comic book.
 
The first season adheres pretty closely to the source material and its only in the 2nd season where they start taking liberties, is it not?
 
Meh, I find the Walking Dead to be overrated. The story just doesn't make you care about any of the characters. The only person I cared about was the redneck. I got to the second episode of the second season when I realised that having it playing in a window while I browsed the web probably meant it was time to stop.
 
I started liking the Walking Dead more now... Was kinda disappointed at first.

Spartacus was brilliant, cannot wait for S3!

I am really into American Horror Story now, just got episode 11 this morning. It's dark. And this:

Suits - Pretty cool. Has a distinct Boston Legal vibe about it but less comedy and more serious drama.

Sherlock - The lead actor is doing an epic job in portraying Sherlock.

Nikita - Pretty cool. Has Alias written all over it though & I reckon it'll get repetitive soon.

Overall a better Blood and Sand series, especially in story and such, but I noted that the special effects seemed a lot more refined in Gods of the Arena.
 
Ja. There were some sketchy-looking effects in blood and sand... but generally more enjoyable.

Story-wise, theyre looking at the different sides so theyre hard to compare but both good.

Blood and sand was more violent :D

This what I thought as well. GOTA felt like too much like a rehash to me, lets see how 3rd take feels :)

Not really a 3rd take... gods of the arena only came about because the actor that played spartacus was battling cancer. It was a "filler" as anime junkies would put it.

The second season of blood and sands should be back to the original formula
