Mirrors Edge - still alive

not sure if it's the same as portal 2's still alive. haven't seen or heard anything from portal2 before

Loved the music to Witcher 1 and 2.
Others worth mentioning are probably Titan Quest and Red Alert 3.

Sorry but i have to post the worst soundtracks. GT5 the music in the menus will make you kill yourself. Jazz and flutes. wtf?
 
Shift 2 had a awful soundtrack! Only one guy's music (if you can call it music) was on the game.

I enjoyed Halo 3 especially the last song where they honor all the fallen soldiers. Does anyone know the name of the song? It sounded like violins were being played and I'm pretty sure I heard it on a episode of The OC.
 
I enjoyed the music in Assassin's Creed 2, more so than Brotherhood.

The original Mafia had some cool tunes - I remember driving around specific areas just to listen to the music.

I also loved Dungeon Siege's opening song - which played at the end during the final boss fight as well. I thought that was a clever way of bringing the story full circle.
 
StarCraft 1's Soundtrack

I remember before i started playing it my mates dad used to play, the music used to make me relax, especially the zerg soundtrack....

Final Fantasy is mentioned quite a bit.. I'll really have to find a "sample" to listen to. ;)

The old NES TV games had legendary soundtracks. :D
 
Chrono Trigger
Final Fantasy VII

Both have outstanding theme tracks. Nobuo Uematsu has still composed the best score for any game so far with his FFVII selection. IMO
 
Not really an epic soundtrack for a storyline based game but EvE online's soundtrack is so chilled. I freakin love it. It's loaded on my ipod.
 
Mass effect definitely has one of the most atmospheric and immersive soundtracks I've ever heard in a game. Its really a case of the music completely capturing the entire mood of the game and its spot on.
