I think the only way to disable it is through the BIOS. Just ensure it's on before attempting to disable it, though. An easy way to check is through the Performance tab in task manager. If Hyperthreading is on, it should show double the amount of graphs for processers. So if you're running a quad core, it should show 8 graphs.

Also, do you guys reckon I'd be able to both play the game and run Teamsspeak on a 384 line?

Hmm....maybe, dude. 384 is a bit low. You might not be able to play on the 64 player servers, but check it out and see how it is. There's only one way to find out.

Yes.

I played like that before upgrading to 1meg. It was fine.

I have 1mb/s and I play on 64 player servers and still lag most of the time, it's not as bad as it once was but it's noticeable

I usually check in Task Manager.. When there's about 750 000k+ in memory the map loads. But the time it takes to load from 0k-750 000k takes at least 8mins or more...

May have exaggerated... But at least 5 mins... But I think it's got difficulty loading from the HD.. I don't know.

Have you defraged you drive recently, running CCleaner and a registry cleaner?
Perhaps your RAM died and it's running at half the capacity you used to have (you had 2 x 4GB and 1 died leaving you with 4GB)

Actually I have (1x2GB + 1x1GB), both working perfectly fine. But I do think I need to clear up more space on my drive. Have ''47.2 GB free of 465 GB'' which should be good enough, since that capacity meter's in the blue.

Had a funny moment yester-- early this morning. 2 Snipers (both standing) (Operation Metro btw..).. I take a risk of running to the one in front.. knife him.. and am still able to gun down the one behind me... Don't think he saw me AT ALL... LOL!

Bf3 Runs smoother with 8GB ram, and considering ram prices are quite low at the moment it might be worth selling you're current ram and getting a new kit.
