There two different types of , film you know that right .......
For some of us as much as we appreciate layered , thrillers that leave you questioning there are times , when good old mindless
action , coupled with nostalgia and stuff blowing up provide for a better form of escapism .
Sometimes you don't need a story , or great acting you just need fun.
 
Expendables was an awesome movie. Sure, it wasn't "good", but I really enjoyed watching it. Looking forward to seeing JCvD and Chuck Norris in no 2.

The first Expendables sucked, like really sucked. The only good thing about it was the cast, hopefully this time they get a good story to go with it.
 
Inception sucked anyway ...... it was too farty for it's own good. And I 'got it' and all that, I just thought the story was convoluted boredom. Much better thrillers than that.

@ Venom - agreed ... sometimes you just need stuff being blown up for no reason to get that stress off your chest like.
 
Yeh. But it wasnt a good movie... just because you wanted to "blow off some steam" and that was what it did.

Hopefully this spiderman makes cameo appearences in The Avengers or Thor 2/Iron Man 3/ Cap America 2...

Dude, DUDE, DUDE!!!!!!!!!!
Spider-man, from comics got his spider powers from the radio active spider right. However he did not get the ability to "shoot" web naturally, instead he used science to come up with his web shooters. Haven't you ever watched a spider-man cartoon or read any of the comics? Only the symbiot suite could make webbing naturally.

Thank god you didn't ask why the girl is blond & called Gwen Stacey & not Mary-Jane Watson or I would have had to revoke your geek membership .

+1 for this.. Duke Dude.. you NEVER watched the old cartoon TV series??

Hopefully they are sticking to the original story line of the cartoons :) Lizard was the first enemy of Spidey, then I think it was Eddie Brock and Venom. HOPEFULLY they do the story of that correctly! J.J Jonesan's son went to the Moon and brought back the symbiot. And hopefully they do a Venom and Spidey team up against Carnage.

Hahaha!! Wow, thanks for correcting me there dude! I was never into Spiderman hey...

I was more of a Batman, The Avengers, The Fantastic Four, The Hulk junkie... I love Batman though!

I could never get into Spiderman or Cpt. America.

But thanks for that dude! I found that quite interesting. Gonna Google more about Spiderman!

I watched some of the cartoons but always found spidey a whiny git. I much prefer Batman also or Rosarch from Watchmen.
