Yeah, it downloads & installs things during setup. Thats how they fit it a single DVD. My advice is download the full client (7.6gb) and install it then or get the client from Wyv or someone.

im installing it from an image file i made from the disc (which is 7.6gb).

Hmmm Then I dont know. I installed it on windows (which too a retry and forever) played it for 5 min then booted back into Mac OS and played there. Windows one played like shit. My Mac OS install took less that 10 minutes.

Its at its best co-op. SP loses something IMO. PVP isn't live yet so I dont know.
