That's a cool way to break it down! Agree with a lot of your picks! PoP is one of the best adventure games ever made. I like the pick for favourite war game, Allied Assault was awesome. I actually recently played Medal of Honor: Airborne a little while ago (bought it cheap) and loved it!

I found Mafia 1 to be far superior to the sequel. Was still a good game, but the first had WAY more charm.

There are just too many to only choose one...

Monkey Island (series), Mass Effect (series), Singularity, Kingdoms of Amalur, The Binding of Isaac...etc.

To hear someone actually like Singularity as much as I did is so refreshing! Some of the best ideas (and BEST guns) were in Singularity!

I enjoyed Sigularity, had some interesting ideas and pretty enjoyable gameplay, pity it just lacked content and maybe one or two other things.

Lol they just two expansions but if I choose one its the shadow of death expansion.

Yep, I found I liked and related to the characters way more in the first Mafia, also each mission stuck in my mind so much that when I played the game again a few years later each chapter had me going "Ah yeah I remember this mission!".

I normally would say FFVII, but then I played SA on the weekend and remembered how great that game actually was. Not just because of all the insanity, the overall package was fantastic. I could spend hours in there doing nothing in particular.
