Realistic FPS

Hi guys I am looking for a realistic FPS game that I can play online.

I was playing Counter Strike GO and what irritates me a lot is that people strafe and jump to not get hit and this is very effective, but is not something actually possible.

What can I play that will offer more of a tactical approach, that is maybe a bit slower paced, but I can still play with other people?

I think we need to work on you definition of "Realistic"

I dunno, Project reality had a pretty hardcore following, not many but dedicated.

Yeah people jump etc when the game allows it, which is why Arma or DayZ is his best bet.

I think it falls somewhere between Arma II and Battlefield 3. I only ever played AA2, but I reckon AA3 is more of the same. There's definitely no jump shooting or crazy kill streaks.

CS is the only really authentic experience I have found. You can't just run in guns blazing and expect to get very far. Tried Americas Army years back and it sucked. Visuals wise BF3 probably takes the cake, but certainly not realistic when it comes to shooting / killing etc.

Yeah, this list kinda starts and ends with ARMA. Everything else is a little more concerned with being "fun", whatever that is.
