Minecraft Server, chance to build a new community

Aweh mense. Just wanted to let peeps know that there is a new Minecraft Server up for South African gamers. IP is 152.111.192.245:27665 (Bukkit), multiplay server hosted by Mweb, seems to be really decent. Looking to build a fairly decent community. Left another server as ppl kept stealing my hard mined stuff. Open to suggestions and looking for an admin or 2 to help run it. PermissionBukkit is in place, heads up if you join before 7 tonight. Thanks.
 
Perhaps this is a sign that I should finally start playing MC. Are there any tutorials for the game or is it easy to just pick up and play?
 
Easy to pickup and play just the mechnical side of things need a tutorial or two. minecraftwiki is really decent and also a great help and a hell of a lot of youtube channels.
 
Soz if anyone came on and I wasnt there at 7, had an emergency. So far we have 10 lots for guys to use and from there onwards gonna work things out

Of-coarse there is not going to be much on it when it is only 2 days old;) thats the best part, unexplored territory! I stopped playing Vanilla MC after I finished building my Randomised Black Jack 21 with Digital 8 segment display gambling machine. Now I find Tekkit much more challenging :D

Good luck with the server though! I hear that one can now trade with the Villagers in the Villages!
 
Anyone familiar with clanforge? want to use a certain plugin but they have the outdated version which is poo. Tried uploading but did not work.
 
I've been looking for quite some time for a home server to play on, but no luck. I'd love to try the server but I'm a bit picky :P

Do you have home protection on request? So someone can't come and destroy my stuff. And another thing I look for is pve building zone, can't stand being ganked while building.

Or am I just shallow? lol
