Borderlands 2 and F1 2012 SA retail launch delayed

We've come all the way from digital distribution being completely impractical and impossible in South Africa, to it being the more viable way to go now.. What a ways we've come.

Yeah, If Borderlands 2 didn't cost R100 more to buy from Steam I would have cancelled my order and done that...
 
borderlands 2 was exactly R330 if you bought it through greenmangaming and then activate it on steam.

well it wasnt that expensive if you buy a pack of 4 and get friends who want the game as well ... that is what pynoxim did, hence i have the preloaded 4.6gb of borderlands 2 so long :)
 
@Fafa and weakest_link, to be fair I wasn't expecting the game to be delayed, I wanted the box but had I known this would happen I'd have gone for a digital solution.

I consider this lesson learned...
 
Wasn't this ready and done, in the end of July already?
NOW there is a shipping problem.
Man this irritates me - worst of all, I am not sure who I am mad at. (yet)

The issue is shipping to SA, US already has their copies since its out there and the UK is still firmly on schedule for 21st release. So the problem isn't the game not being finished, its with getting it into South Africa.

I get that. But if it was finished a month ago, they could have shipped it already.
Not the week of release?
I know we (RSA) are a tiny % of the market, but have a heart. RSA will always have constraints when it comes to shipping.
Better planning maybe?

Anyway to late now. Cancelled my pre-order. DLing from steam
