talking about sea animals. wanted to tell kids about killer whales, but couldn't find a paper with info on it in the facts about animals file.

turns out I have a paper on it, although they refer to it as an Ocra (the other name for killer whales). And it is actually not a whale, but a dolphin...

trying to get a sound clip of whale sounds for kids to listen to

The Price of wedding is pretty damn scary. I mean ive heard of people that spend a 100k or more. :eek: Can you fucking believe that? I would much rather keep it to like 30, 40K (like mine will probably work out to) and use the 70, 60 odd K that is left for other shit. Like a nice big LCD tv for my flat or something.

ours cost us just over R10k

we had an outdoor wedding. wedding ceremony and reception was at the same venue. The venue cost us R1500 to rent for the afternoon/evening. That included tables, chairs, cutlery, crockery and the use of their kitchen facilities.

I made my own wedding dress, and baked my own fruit cake. Just had the cake professionally decorated through a friend of the family. We did all the decorations ourselves. And we bought a 150 long-stemmed red roses directly from a rose farm.

It was stunning! And we received a lot of compliments about the way it was done. No-one would believe I made my own dress either...

I also considered doing alot of it myself/ourselves. But with me working so much and Red still busy with her studies its a bit hard. She is doing the invites, her dress and deco herself. The Cake ill sort out as my gran can bake. The venue is 9k but its for the entire day, the food is the most expensive coming in at about 19K for 90 people. (I dont want 90 ppl there but its Red's choice not mine apparently) then we have like a few grand for the wine and champs. So yeah.
