Still have to speak to Jokerzor about the new PC. At this point, I'm nearly as broke as a church mouse, who just got a huge tax bill on the very same day his wife ran off with another mouse, taking all the cheese.

Forza 4 is better than 3. It's not the same game, there are races, but it's way broader. You always earn Xp and stuff, you must do PR missions (like drive a car to certain point and take a pic) - generally it's a nice chill game - the driving around is actually quite therapeutic.

horizon uses the forza 4 engine (on steriods) it has a day night cycle and the headlights and dashboard lights go on realistically when it gets dark, i need to get that game, still playing the demo

lol. My best advice is try play it at a mates house and see if you like it. Most peoples gripes with COD were with regard to the match making, that has been sorted. I find a game within 10 seconds, I have never had to sit around and wait for a game.

I have to admit the big releases have disappointed this autumn. What is worse the ones that I played at Eurogamer and that looked Awesome just fell flat. Namely NSF and AC3. I keep getting the feeling with AC3 that there is a really awesome game waiting to come out but it just doesn't. Need for Speed was fun but its messed up progression means it has no staying power unless you are obsessive about being better than everyone else on your friend list. Hitman is good when it lets me play the way I want to. I think thats what I like about Far Cry... at no point yet has it forced me to play a certain way. Doing a mad dash up behind a guard standing next to a truck, stabbing him in the back and then firing at his buddy only to have 2 more jeeps pull up, throwing a nade haphazardly into the van and spaying with the Assualt rifle and then watching the nade go taking 2 jeeps with it and throwing dead bodies around the area was just as exciting as sneaking into a checkpoint avoiding the guards and taking them out 1 at a time. Fuck me its going to be a long day and our fucking house guest isn't going to make things any easier.
