Try this - 20mins ice (aka frozen peas or mielies works great) then 20mins of heat - just wrap a warm water bottle in a towel

It will do wonders

THis is actually really good its called cold compression the cold causes the muscle swelling to decrease and then the heat expands blood flow to help with repair
 
Do that a few times a day - the difference it makes is huge. It was what my physio told me to do when I tore mine years ago, since then I do it everytime I twist my ankle :P

So, do you cook the peas afterwards or throw them away?
