for me, it would be a tough choice between the Peavey and the LTD, never heard of the Santa Fe, but it sounds festive.

the Washburn is obviously top of the class in this selection

I would also look at the Cort (I used to have one, nice instrument), or even the Squier (budget guitar, made by Fender)

what exactly is your budget?

Thing is i will be learning through rocksmith and could possibly hate it and really suck all thsoe 3 i mentioned are going for R1500 +- the washburn was going for R2300 but the most comfortable feel for me was the LTD

no you will love it once you get the hang of it. not to mention chicks dig'it :D

I would recommend starting out with something like THIS. I began with one of those, except it was the Bass bundle, and it served me well for many years. Don't know what they go for now though

I dont need the epdals or amp or anything like that as the game simulates all thsoe things

LTD EC 10 : this one felt the nicest in my hands

Peavey Raptor: cheap but i kinda like the look of this one more barring the white

Santa fey looks almsot identical to the raptor and more or less same price

true, but you can't carry your console around with you where ever you want to play :p

rocksmith is a good concept and I'm sure it'll teach you a lot, but the best way to learn is on your own, plucking away. study your cords, download some tabs, and practice practice practice. Guitar Pro would make a much better tutor tbh :)

Definitely the LTD. Sante fe is a budget guitar. Peavey not bad, but they should stick to making amps.

im kind of leaning mroe towards the ltd as well but thats because when i felt them that one just felt the nicest to me not sure i like the look of it as much as teh peavey though

Forget about looks. Comfort is probably the single most important thing when buying a guitar. A R30K Gibson looks and sounds stunning, but fuck me what a pig to hold.

Personally I like the look of the LTD over the Peavey. Looks similar to my Cort Zenox. The peavey looks like a bad rip off of a strat.
