Hehe, yeah. If you die you are dead :) We are playing on veteran, tough but doable. About to finish act 1! Hardcore provides a new challenge and it's really fun! Try it sometime!

Hmmm.. Tempting. But not with my current character. :P It's an engineer with a huge wrench. I'll have to get a ranged unit if I want to try that. I'm somewhere in ACT I, looking for some key thing in a bandit camp

Engineers have the best survival skills imo, and they have an innate 25% damage reduction. Berserkers have 30% damage reduction :)

Still not enough.. there's this big beast thing in one of the caves.. it one hit K.O.s me. :O
And it's some Ice stop thing he does, so I can't just dance around his punches

That's probably Chillhoof. Slayer of many a hardcore character! You need to stack ice armor for him and also learn to dodge his attacks. The potion vendor sells a nice ice armor potion as well which lasts for five minutes :)

Remember in hardcore you choose your gear differently, you choose your skills differently, and you play differently :D Or you start over a lot!

Anybody keen on posting their runic games Account name, and or steam name. I'm chasing the Butterfly achievement ( 50 friends that play TL2 )

I'm also level 18 now, just past the slavers camp bit in the frost level.

If we all add each other then we stand a chance of getting the Butterfly achievement easily :D
