This just sounds like another plot to keep you guys from getting married. Just be firm, and don't give in. No compromise at all. That way she will get the message. Be prepared to know this procedure will be repeated a couple of times. And everytime just tell her that you've already decided on the date and venue, and it is NOT NEGOTIONABLE.

Don't give in after a few times of her nagging, because it will set a precedent. She would be able to use it against you in the future.

Yeah thats what i said and my mom said also. Its also why Red is moving out before the end of August. Just sad that Red's mom is making what should be a happy time for Red into a really stressful and messed up time.

I wish someone would pay me already!!! I hate this extreme end of the months (when the very last friday of the month is the literally the last day of the month). Hubby's work changed their pay times in the beginning of the year: they now get pd the last friday of the month instead of the 28th.

And I always only get pd at the very end of the month, up to the 5th sometimes :(
 
oh and i managed to get in some gaming time this weekend Finished CSI 3Dimensions of Murder, Godfather 2 and my prize i won Company of Heroes Anthology.... now i started playing Sin Episodes again :D

Yeh i used to have that when i worked for Edcon and then it made budgeting alot harder as you would have to work out what the last fri of the month is and all that... so i know how u feel....

ok, and I thought it was just their work that was weird for changing it.

I see next month is the 28th, sep the 25th and then oct is the 30th again. It is so stupid!

Maybe I should just gradually start stcoking up over the next 2 months so oct won't be that bad

Ja i think thats what most people have done and then come like sept and Oct then everything is like hundreds and ur atleast prepared :p my suggestion would be that you go to makro and buy ur stuff in Bulk thats what my mate did and the stuff lasts him like a couple months without having to stress about stocking up again every month :)

Yeh suppose that is also true but hell im actually going this weekend to buy some stuff in bulk for the next few months that way i can save a bit of cash :) i dont mind doing like 2 trips but ja suppose pnp can be cheaper with goods...
