To start off guess Ill say I have always trusted the logitech mouses and always been a huge fan. Having a g9 last for so long is really awesome and tried to replace it over the years but keep going back to it.
I see now though that logitech has discontinued the g9/g9x series and does not seem like they are working on new developments for it
. They say they have replaced it with the g700 which to me is nothing similar to the g9x?
The question now is do I go and buy some of the last of the g9x stock that is lying around and should there ever be a problem they will replace it with something else under warranty(heard they don't manufacture the g9x and they are pretty much out of stock of them now aswell, so they usually send you a g700 to what I have seen on several forums). I'm just worried that I buy the mouse I love for so many $$$ and they replace it one day with a crappy g700 that doesnt feel as comfortable.
What would you guys do? buy another mouse now and get used to it before it gets too far down the line or buy the last of the stock and hope they last forever
Any suggestions for alternatives to the g9x? grrr. damn you logitech!!!!
