*WINNER ANNOUNCED* Win Xbox 360 250GB + Forza Horizon with MyGaming

very true spamming to win something. i dont know how i feel about that i read all posts but most times i dont post due to the topic at hand :/ guess the only way is to spam

We probably walk past each other in the mall quite often :D

Nah, I avoid the mall if at all possible. Too many people who can't drive. We went on Saturday around noon, and got stuck behind an old lady driving 2 km/h looking for a parking spot. We turned off, only to get stuck behind another one.. They then spotted the same spot at the same time, and both made a kamikaze run for it!

yep, must be honest, not a big fan of this format, wish I had time to spend all day on MyGaming but work comes first, it's my favourite forum, but no way can I earn more points that those with more time on their hands,

Sad

Lol I usually avoid the mall on Saturday and go during the week.

There are plenty of other way to Gain points guys, perhaps we should stop complaining so much and be pro-active in other ways. We have such awesome ( FREE ) opportunity's handed to us with these compos and half the time okes are crying this and that.

Malice won the last prize for this format and i dont consider him a spammer so please guys give this complaining a break and just give it a shot.

Not a big fan of this new system.
It's more fun to read everyone's BS online than to post stuff every 30 seconds like a twitter / facebook status update.

okes, I read in the rules that spamming and reviving old threads will be monitored. Only quality posts and conversations will count.
I say flippin good system but must be a hell of a lot work on the back end.

Hope it works out.

This is only going to benefit guys who have been active here over time, its going to be hard to spam your way to the top.

I really don't like this competition format. I now stand no chance at all, because I'm in the middle of my exams and don't have nearly as much opportunity to post here as I usually do. Not even taking into account the fact that many members will now just post-whore, making it even more difficult for people in my position to qualify for the competition.

You know what competition format I did like? The kinds like Do you Remember or the Write something useful/interesting about Gaming competitions. Those kinds of competitions are fair towards everyone, because it relies on the quality of your contribution and not the quantity of your contributions.

As it stands, I'm not even going to bother trying for this competition because the only way I would stand a chance would be to spam my way to the top, which would get me disqualified.

That's not correct. The activity is measured over the set period, not based on total time on site or existing activity.

Yes but most of those guys are active day to day and keep convos rolling, and post articles and links. I'm the first to admit I'm cautious around new guys starting stuff.

All I'm saying is guys with a history here know the flow and if they keep up their interest they will have a great chance, ave users will be able to give it a good shot also without going spammy but the new guys just joining to enter might not integrate in a meaningful way and will likely struggle.
