Monitoring all the threads all the time sure sounds like a hell of a lot of work to me. Is it really worth it in the end?
 
i think its due to the xbox one news as well. Its big news but a busy active forum with good posts is better than people just posting a load of rubbish.

As long as the post have a valid point and not just one word posts then its not to bad. There are a good set of people who post on these forums already witch is a good thing.

Here we go. I'm entering to say that I find the method of 'scoring' the posts morally reprehensible and elitist. Is this really the kind of community you are trying to create James? I hope not. It would be sad to see honest people trying to enter 'competitions' desperately trying to generate attention for the prize. You are rewarding most of the negative behavior on a large scale that most sites try to avoid while at the same time only providing a real opportunity for 1 out of 25 people to win. And I thought that the 20 post to enter option was difficult to meet before. Why not say you can win this month if you are 6 foot 2, with one blue eye and one green eye, live in Kimberly and are called "QwagbotMcLovin2012". At least we would know the true agenda.

Yes I did see what I did there. Still new here and cannot get a handle on the post quick reply option.. Also seething with anger does not help my posting ability.
