I kind of disagree with this sentiment, it assumes that making music using digital means is easy... I can tell you now, it isn't :p.

I say, if the sound is good, who cares about the process? I make digital music, and it's good (maybe not world class, but still good) :D

2Pac was a good rapper. Rapping about life and troubles in life.
Eminem (my favourite rapper) - raps about his life and troubles of life.

Lil' Wayne, Nicki Minaj and other such rappers only seems to talk (rap) about their successes.
I still don't know her (NM's) purpose in the music industry, tbh. She's so fake, imho.

he did in a few of his songs but majority of them were more about smoking weed and shaggign lots of hoes :D
