Problem is it is Diesel, my parents are fronting the cash which I will then be paying back, along with a large sum of money for other things so until its me doing the choice 100% I can't go diesel. Found a Citroen C3 diesel and sent that through, turned down flat because it was diesel, so I don't know if I should try.
Wonder why it says R55 000 on window yet on gumtree they say R45k?

....I'm confused. what's the problem with diesel? it's the best thing you can buy these days

only problems i personally have with diesels is the SoUNDDDDDDDDDDDD, and diesel is the fuel of the Devilllllllll

well I sent it through to my folks to see what they think.

I wouldn't mind diesel, only thing I am scared of is some twat putting petrol in instead, friend has an Auris diesel and yeah some attendant put petrol in instead. Luckily managed to save the car in time.

then you must educate your folks

Diesel is A LOT cheaper to run, lower maintenance, they'll run for a lot longer (mileage wise), and their engines are built from adamantium

I know my parents are under the impression that diesel is more expensive to maintain.
Will chat to them, although I am still really tempted by the 97 one. In 16 years surely its proven itself to be a non dud? mind you only 56000km but still?

Urgh, I still need to look at replacing my netbook's HDD, but at this point I'm not sure if it would be better to simply buy a new one instead.

That is awesome. Now I just need to google what the building looks like. Too many conflicting photos on google images, don't know which one it is.

It totally depends on the car manufacturer really, BMW and Toyota have it licked here.

Problem is it isn't either of those brands we looking at. Mainly looking at the Hyundai's, Opels, Kia etc which don't have many viable diesel options.
