It's because your Steam account name, the one you log in with, is baasoltman. I'm Avatar on Steam and pretty much everywhere else, but since my account name is what shows up on SG.

Not too sure about that, my login name is completely different from anything else I ever use, but Steamgifts still has me as MetalSoup
 
must... fix... cannot keep track with all these usernames! when i signed up for PSN i had to choose something other than oltman and it drove me nuts!
 
I absolutely hate it when my nick has been taken on forums / platforms. I sometimes have to resort to FafaZA which I hate :<

nevermind forums, apparently Malice is a very popular name in the gaming world. there are almost no online game I can play with my nick :(
 
Apologies, haven't been too active on this thread or Steam. My PC is currently packed away for safe keeping since I'm just in a middle of a move so I'll probably only participate here in a few weeks or whenever they can set up internet at my new place :/

i cannot change mine! my parents GAVE it to me! on my ID, passport, birth certificate. its as official as it gets :)
