I know what that feels like, it happens quite frequently where I work. I was forced to get a cheque account with an overdraft just for this reason. It's a huge hassle when your debit orders bounce. Some banks even charge you for it :mad:

I pay our staff 3 days before the end of the month, just in case shit happens. And when you're using Pastel, that happens often.
 
I'm really starting to doubt that the number of green vertical lines below one's nick is indicative of one's rep.

Some have the same rep, but different amounts of these lines. I'm just curious as to its actual meaning...

(He says this knowing he's repeated himself a few times on this topic...)

I just need clarification for my own personal sake, curiosity and information.

I think each bar may represent a certain number of reputation points, like 50 or something. Not 100% sure.

It scales according to your reputation points. The more points you have, the more green blokkies you have. That's the simple explanation.

Eugene would be correct. Although I'm not sure either what the exact increment is.

I always thought it was how many lives you have left. You drop one for every reprimand by the mods, you get one for every 20 reps given by peers. When you have zero left and get a reprimand: *BOOM* Ban-hammer time.
