Starcraft 2

Micro against something you can't see? I'm not psychic, and although they can be seen my stats would say that's not even 5% of the time. A stupid Terran would place them in easy to spot locations.

Life has a great way of playing, which I like. :) The builds I'm looking at now isn't hard to execute and will be good practice.
Then I'll take a few of TLO's builds and work out a passive set of builds for the days that I just don't feel like the king of Micro

But I'll have to sit a little later, assess where I am and where my goal is. Then work out builds and strats.
Playing to win doesn't get you into GM, playing to get better does.

Tip about widow mines I didn't mention earlier. Before you engage mmmm (mine maruader medivac marine) you should hold down shift, patrol click in an area on your screen near your units but out of range of any enemies, after this follow it up with an attack move, your units will auto spread, meaning widow mines become much less effective, plus now you do that already with no micro and you add a tiny bit of your own spreading in and voila mines rendered pointless

That's why I forsee tank in future of pro players imo, specially with the roach/baneling compositions and allins rolling in aswell atm. It's a good idea in my opinion to focus muta/ling/baneling and learn to micro well vs mines with this composition. Mines cannot be micro'd in terms of what they shoot, your units can however be manually controlled. If I want I think is to come back again, which is marine/tank, Mutalisks will finally have their vengeance for their demise from Wings of Liberty :)

Creep is your best friend against mines. :) Or mass expand... lol.

Anyhow, I'd like to note that I can't recall when last I bothered with a strategy against Protoss.
They all try to cheese and all in, and that's fairly easy to hold. Perhaps I'll challenge some of our Master Protoss players tonight, just to make sure I'm not getting lazy.

Love your confidence their TT :D

The funny thing is that after I posted this, the first Protoss kicked my ass. :P

Oh, guys, VnR is having an inhouse Tourney tonight and tomorrow. One of our members will be casting (and streaming), so I'll post the link here when it starts.

Heard the other day on the streams that since he fell away, America needs a new player to root for. Was so funny, chat exploded. Anyways I didnt like him. He was really arrogant and he played in a way people couldnt win him, which took a bit of the game away for me. I like having the competition.

After watching WCS NA, I would never play for an American team. I'll just stare at every interviewer and wonder if they really are smart enough to tie their shoes. Those questions.. oh my word..

Stephano is awesome and adds a lot of fun into the game. We should all aspire to be like that.
As for arrogant, if you're in the top 20 of the world... you may be.

Yea but see a play Protoss and well, I haven't really seen him do bad against Protoss you know :). But I totally agree with you on the American thing... I agree Stephano is definitely one of the best Starcraft players out there, but I always enjoy having an underdog situation. It would be fun to see how older players get put under pressure by new guys and vice versa. Basically I don't want to know who is going to win before the game has even started you know...
