Yeh well I was out doing 5km runs and all that this weekend so it was pretty tiring

So who here has been following the IAAF World Championships? I love athletics and dabble in some discus myself, though I'm strictly amateur. Anyway, the 100m sprint final was last night and Usain Bolt put on another great show in the rain. Running in that weather, the 9.77 he did is extremely quick.
The other events I'm looking forward to is 200m men and women, shot put men, discus men and women, and the pole vault women.

Well I played games the weekend and went to the waterfront,had a decent long weekend..oh and watched Now You See Me.

i enjoyed the fina swimming last week, athletics i only watch now and then, 100m u dont need to watch cause u already know who is going to win

Hehe Dohc, I believe in this day and age it wouldnt surprise me to find some kind of drug use. But and this is a big one, they know they cant be stupid, most sports drug use appears in is to increase abilities. Since 50% of the sport is about the car, the drivers cannot afford to take chances with really dangerous drugs, I mean they barely take pain killers during a race weekend for headaches. I have seen drivers not race just because they took cold meds the night before - just in case it impairs them the slightest amount - crashes are still dangerous, even though they have managed to make it as safe as possible.

Hehehe I actually hope that Massa also retires end of this season. He needs to stop now. It is sad to see him struggle so much. He shows so much promise but fades away.
