Chivalry: Medieval Warfare - South African Community

I'm really enjoying the new duel mode - it's a lot of fun and some fights get so intense they really get my heart racing. Fantastic game overall!
 
Okay, I've got the game now. It's a lot of fun, but high ping kinda kills it. How often does the SA server see players?

I haven't seen any locals playing for ages - and Stoneclod seems to not be hosting local servers any more (either that or i can't find them for some reason). It's a pity that interest in the game was short lived - I quite enjoyed it.

I'm keen to play if we can organise a small group of MyGaming guys.

I killed one of my servers, the Duel server is still online though. But yeah, interest in Chivalry locally took a nose dive about a 1 month + ago. I have about 130+ locals on the Steam group, but yeah, the majority have moved on. I'll still keep at least one server online for the foreseeable future. The only thing that would ignite a spark again locally is another huge Steam sale.

But we can try organize something again, but count me out as I'm too busy work wise to be playing at the moment.
 
It would be awesome if we could have a few organised games every once in a while. The game is loads of fun, but internationals seem to keep kicking you for high ping.
 
Sadly, once they added the new duel mode and new moves, that killed it for me. The extra moves didn't gel so nicely with my mouse setup and I kept getting my ass kicked in duel mode plus I found the interface clunky.

Wouldn't mind playing FFA and/or Objective based maps again, but am sure if i dive in now I'll be rusty as hell! :(
 
The big problem is that there are probably a lot of people who want to play, but every time they go online and see the server empty they leave again. That way maybe 10 or more people who might have played don't play because they don't want to join an empty server. :(

I usually see two or three people in the duel server :( .
An organised chivalry session would be awesome, you can count me in.
 
I haven't been playing but my sword and shield are ready!

If there is an organised evening I will make a point of giving it a bash :p
 
And i'm resurrecting an oldish thread :)

Anybody here still playing Chivalry :) talking about it earlier made me want to play it again.
 
I haven't played it recently but maybe the weekend I can have another go at it. The duel mode was quite fun :)
 
I got it as a gift during the steam sale but I haven't played it that much yet. Think I've played about 5 hours in total so far, but I still go in from time to time.
 
If you know of anyone who wants the games i still have 2 keys left from the 4 pack i purchased a while ago.

Lol, I'm trying to unlock the ranged weapons for my archer, but ended up unlocking the secondary swords instead :o
Still on the first level of all the ranged stuff. :(
