The Official: I'm playing GTA 5 Thread.

Anyone else playing this having issues with cars saved in garages? I have modified a motorcycle with Franklin and parked in the garage at his house and it was there for a while, but when I wanted to take it for a spin it was gone. No impound, no Grovestreet Garage no nothing, gone for good. The same thing happened to me with a Porsche-looking car that I parked in Michael's garage, I spent a lot of money on both of these vehicles so they should register as the character's property, but I can't find them anywhere.

I'm kinda scared to modify cars now, because it can get expensive and I don't want to keep losing my money. Where is the best place to park a vehicle and be sure that it will be there when I want to drive it?

Someone on reddit mentioned their having the same problem. Seems that there's something going on with the saving of your vehicles, where they'll be in your garage for a bit and then just disappear. Might want to hold off on spending your money to upgrade your vehicles until we know a bit more.

I was under the impression when wanting to keep vehicles, we should be parking them in the car garage as opposed to the house garage.

Haha; When GTA 5 is only available on console, what do you expect me to do? I am a true gamer after all :P

Oh balls I've had the same issue. I got a car, spent some money on it. Drove it around to a mission that required me to get on a bike. I finished the mission and NEVER saw the car again! lol.....I've stopped customising any cars now until I can figure out what the heck I'm doing.

Also, Ted is insane. I got to play as Ted last night and it was a culture shock of note. I actually couldn't carry on playing for more than an hour because it was simply too tiring to play as Ted! :wtf:

You must struggle playing 3rd person games then, I play on free aim no problem. Only time I struggle are with drive-by kills.

You cant just leave a vehicle in the middle of nowhere and expect it to be there when you get back...thats the whole point of the garages.

You mean Trevor...

Just got this game yesterday and was playing for about 8 hours straight. I still can't seem to grasp the flying though:confused:

Guess Bioshock Infinite isn't my GOTY anymore:rolleyes:

GTA is traditionally a PS title, but I can't decide if I should get it for PS3 or Xbox. I hate PS3 controllers, so there's that.

if you get it on xbox renew your xbl account please! I'm going to need a solid homie in this place.

edit: anyone play the sub mission yet? the graphics are flippin ridiculous!!!! Amazing, so good.

Yep did that one yesterday! The sheer variety of missions is staggering, having an absolute blast with this game. Played all weekend long and I'm only on 30% progress...

Just had a question about the game: While exploring the world, can you ever run into one of the other main characters doing their own thing?

And I did my first heist- AMAZING! Got the sub ready, but the frame rate seemed to drop while underwater, just don't want my console to explode:wtf:
