As my friend says without her fiance there would be no baba Kiana on the way. So its more a celebration than babyshower. Im giving her the baby clothes I painted and some goodies for her - lotions and potions since she deserves some spoiling as well. Ive already given her fiance a bottle of red wine.

That's actually really nice for a baby shower, my mother-in-law threw a traditional baby-shower for all the aunties and grannies and stuff, and then my sister-in-law (also baby's godmother) organised a lekker spit braai baby shower/party at our place for all the friends. I went and played golf while the first one was happening

Dodgy as it sounds, that's actually quite a good gift. If the new mom doesn't know much about breast feeding, she'll be greatful for it later.

I was banished to the golf course as the first option lol, i like the second option better.
