Ok, time to do some more work. Clients can be so demanding sometimes

Hooray! Test results are back, and I don't have swine flu. I was quite worried because half my office came down with it, and if it nails a grown man as hard as those people say it does, I really don't want to give it to my 5 month old, or my 9 month old niece who we're visiting in Durbs this weekend, especially since she has an immune deficiency problem.

Cost me about R1500 to see the doc and get the test done though, which sucks, but I feel much better for knowing.

Is the cable in properly and does the monitor go on during boot ?
Cable is inserted properly but the monitor gets no signal, therefore the Standby [orange light] doesn't change to Blue [active light].

Where can I still buy an AM2+ Motherboard. Maybe buying a new or barely used one will fix my problem.

Have you tried taking the power out of the PC itself and grounding the prongs? Also does your monitor support digital and analog - perhaps its not on the correct one?
