What are Organizations used for?

* Managing companies, allowing a citizen to work for a company he owns or a different one.
* Moving to purchase goods or raw materials from foreign markets.
* Serving as additional inventory.
* Acting as a gifting partner.

Sounds handy for if/when we need to umbrella a few companies to the cause :)
 
Well, if it's not taken, we may as well start thinking of it as a name ...... or thinking up other names :D

Wonder who's going to be the Newspaper chap ....... we are gonna need our own Newspaper too :D
 
Morning chaps

Ok I was wondering I have food..... but how do I eat it, or does it come off automatically?

I was also wondering how detailed this game really gets.

For example once we have built up a bit of a resistance and got a few companies going, would it not be a good idea to start speaking to one of Indonesia's enemies (the chinese) and strike up an alliance with them, maybe provide resources at a good rate if they help us with the resistance (i am not sure if this is at all possible, still new to all this)

Other thing is we would have to start a political party along the way. Any good ideas for a party name? Left, right or centre?
 
On Food - it's automatic, just have in your inventory.
On Alliance - we'd have to be the government first ... possible but a while off :D
On Politics - let's concentrate on Le Resistance first, then politics.
 
But how do you take over an area if you not apart of a group?

I mean dont we have to be bound in some way to liberate a region?

Sorry for all teh questions, just wana understand the game mechanics :)
 
I'm actually not 100% on the liberation mechanics yet ..... I was only going to really get clued up once it was apparent that we had a decent group together with enough backing (gold, companies, soldiers).
 
Okie doke....

Just a question is there anything you can do to make your person level up faster? Or can i just do my once a day work and army training for now?
 
How does the whole manager thing work? Do you even technically work if your a manager?

You cannot work for any company once you are a general manager, basically as a GM I have to firstly make sure that I hire and maintain 10 employees (10 employees = maximum productivity) buy raw materials (the price will differ depending on the time of day and a bit of luck). Finally you have to place your completed goods onto the market with a competitive price. Thats basically it, theres a little more to it but you will find out when you own a company.

MH - an organization is a very good idea, only drawback is that the citizen that starts the origination will then not be allowed to train or fight in any wars, so we have to select carefully.
 
Yeah I was reading that ........ but what I made out was that you actually register under a new username with a different email and all so that your character can work?
 
oh yea, now I remember what i was supposed to do this morning... dont judge I was up late programming -cries in his emo corner-
 
I was wrong about the organisation ....... so yeah, we'll have to choose carefully. Maybe it'll be best to have a fairly new recruit to the game or someone with out military ambitions run it.
