I know ,but I hope you are not like some people that enter the game but stay at the main menu just to have more gameplay hours?

AP - I did AR, RD, etc, when I first started, so that I could learn most of the heroes, then started on AP when I figured out which ones I liked.

Use the in game guides, book top left corner. Has decent item and skill builds. Sometimes I use them just to get items quicker, can't be bothered navigating the dota 2 store. :p

I finally started using the shift+buy mechanic to select items I want to buy. It's pretty cool because now I hear an audible alert when I have enough gold for one of the items.

I use that and quick buy(made mine "+") every game.

Full time job and a reasonably active social life. To be fair, a 3rd of the time was spent watching pro dota games.

Granted I bought my way into the beta shortly after the first international happened way back in 2011 and considering how long I have had the game I'm surprised my total hours played is not higher.

I can play doto Insanity. Level 94 at the moment but played twilight server since 2010. Understand the game quite well etc.

My AMD 3870 is, however, reaching 101 degrees when trying to play with the settings turned down. So most games are initiation-cast-lag-death. Looking for a new card, only have about 1.3k max and not sure what will be a good buy. Im thinking about a new 7770 or older better spec second hand card.
 
Don't you guys want to help a brother out? A friends submitted the Vulture Scythe of Toxicity for the modo DOTA2 comp and could even have it accepted into the steam workshop if it gets enough loving. Would be great if you guys can head over there and give it a thumbs up if you think its worthy.
