Edit : I saw some of the roads in Jhb has flooded. I have to go to Krugersdorp a bit later on and I see they've had flooding as well.

Yeah, Monnas is under water. Which is worrying, my mother stays 3 blocks from there.

Have to go to the Hospital there for the baby sonar at 4, hope it's a bit better by then. Monnas is not much further away from there. Is it that "dam" that is overflowing or just build up of water somewhere?

It sits at the bottom of a steep hill, so the entire area's water goes downhill into Monnas. The dam also overflowed, so I think that doesn't really help much.

I ended up working from home today because my wife is going to a funeral so I'm looking after the baby. Means I didn't have to drive in rain traffic, which was really bad today by the sound of it. My pool is looking super full though, right up to the paving.

it was ridcidulous i drove through one patch where the water was running onto my bonnet my car actualyl cut out in it
