Post a pic of your gaming setup (Image Heavy Thread)

I have the X-530. Got it for a steal - practically. Bought it off a good friend for half it's original price. Where my sub is placed now (temporarily), it delivers a lot of bass, and the bass meter is turned all the way down.

Yeah, it's got really good sound and packs quite the punch. I remember my old school used to use them in classrooms when we watched movies and stuff, and I knew then that I wanted those speakers. You can spend tons on speakers but at the end of the day it's really your own preference of the sound that should decide what you get. Like more expensive speakers with more "features" would be wasted on me.

Yearning for a new GPU...sooon soooooon

What would you suggest I raise it with? Honestly, the amount of dust I get in my room, it doesn't matter where I put my computer. That's what you get for living in an old house :(

Wooden pallet. Or even a sturdy box would work.

I'd suggest raising both your PC and Sub off the ground by about 4 inches at least. That will keep it above the natural dust level. Also, the bass will improve.

When I eventually have a PC to call "my own", it's going to be on a "workstation", so it'll be raised approx. 5-10cm off the ground. Will post pics when my final setup is complete -- hopefully not longer than a month.

This^^

But yes, I have a 24" 144hz monitor on my 'to buy' list.

Oh, and if the computer case is throwing you off... that's a 23" monitor.

Yeah, but usually 1440p monitors come in 27" or higher. And I must admit, I thought it was much smaller than 23" 0.o

I don't particularly want a 1440p monitor. I love high framerates and, to me atleast, high framerates make a material difference to my K/D in online FPS. I definitely want a 144hz monitor though :D

And lol yeah, the 900D is deceptively large. It's almost 65cm high. Everything aside from full server towers looks small next to it :p

I'm running 2560x1440 @ 120Hz, you'll be fine with 2x 780's bud.
It is truly amazing, love my setup <3

If I can't push my competitive games (BF4, CS:GO, CoD, etc.) at over 100fps on high detail at the chosen res, it's not an option for me :)

And most of them can't run 100fps+ at 1440p, even on my rig :(

Well CS and COD will easily run 100fps + @ that res.
BF you'll be able to run ultra but aa will have to drop.

I have always tried to like the brand, but I have had issues with every single peripheral besides my blackwidow.

I changed to Steelseries, and never looked back. :)
