Titanfall Beta Access Registration

How can they make a new IP closed beta. This is a bit stupid. I won't be buying until I've tried this game on my own pc. This game is even worse cause it comes from COD developers so I don't think it's something fresh until i can play for myself. I've given up waiting for a key. It must come or not. Anyone that received a key yet?

They make closed beta's all the time for new IP's. It is not an uncommon practice since it's 2014 you might just want to get used to it, you have to understand that it will only be available to people in specific areas that are closest to the "cloud/server".

I somewhat don't understand your disappointment for not getting a BETA Key, it's a beta and sometimes you don't get invited.

As for will you like the game? Rather not get it then on day one, or week one or month one. Rather let it settle into the community first, you may just buy it and buy june the servers are empty as people go back to BF4, CS:GO and DOTA 2. Remember what happened to a game that was of similar gameplay, Brink? It died a month or two after release, as it was not well implemented, I dont even think it got off the ground in S.A at all AFAIK.

So no local servers but that's not such a big deal. Higer ping doesn't make a game unplayable. I've been playing Crysis 3 for awhile and among the top player in the game. Lately I've gone to some server were my ping is between 350 and 500 and I can still own a match. This gets harder if the local pro's are online but in my experience the ping wont be that bad. Little lag wont stop me from getting this game. Maby in time we will get local servers but for now it seems like a done deal.

I played Crysis 2 on international servers last year - and pwned (sometimes). Never had many lagging issues.

I'm glad I never tried registering. Some of you lot seem to be having some issues with getting keys.

Maybe I'd've been in the same boat if I registered.

Would have liked to play Titanfall though. Gameplays made it look very interesting and intriguing.

Well I have beta access now busy downloading. already done 3GB. Just tell an ea support advisor you got a key for xbox one and you applied for pc and lol it worked.

And another one:

Starting to look very good. I really wish I could get into the beta.

Wonder if they're not allowing people from ZA.

Still haven't received any key... I really hope I get into the Beta for Pc

Tbh at this point i think its too late. If by any chance i get a key now i still have to download the +- 12GB and even if i do manage that i'll probably only have a couple of hours to play, if i'm lucky :(

Hopefully they'll have a more open beta later down the line.

To help you guys out, make your way to : http://help.ea.com/en/article/titanfall-beta-code-platform-issue-and-workaround/ and follow the link that says "PC players follow this link".

After that, you'll need to login to your Origin account, and then you can simply ask them that you want PC beta access on your Origin account. I was lucky to get an unused Xbox one key from a friend that I used via this link I'm posting for you guys and had access within 2 hours later. I know of someone who simply asked nicely via Origin online help for beta access and they granted his request.

You guys have nothing to lose, give it a shot. I've been playing since yesterday and it's a blast. Other friends did receive invites via email, but this procedure should speed up the process as time is running out on trying the beta for yourselves :)

PS: From what I've read, the beta ends on 18 February, plus its a 12.3GB download.
