Review of the Antec KÜHLER 1250 H2O CPU water cooler.

The Joker

Thread Killer MKII
Hey guys.

I picked up the cooler today, so I'll be testing it over the weekend and then doing a mini review for you guys on Monday, what I will say I absolutely love the design, completely different and it cools like a monster so far...Haven't really gone into hectic overclocking ect but I can already see this cooler is more than capable of beating a H100i and the other big boys.

Will update with pics and my findings on Monday :D

I'm excited for Monday! Overclocking always interests me so much, though I'm nowhere near to needing to overclock yet :p

Felt the same way about OC'ing and in the end gave it go just out of curiousity and amazed at how much higher FPS I got in the games I play. My web browsing also slightly faster than it was before as well as some other programs just seems to respond a bit faster than usual.

I had to search for a guide to OC my board cos I didn't really have a clue as to where to start and found a vid on youtube of a guy with the exact same mobo and cpu as mine and just followed the vid slowly an presto! I OC'd my FX8350 to 4.5Ghz and its running sweet!

I can say I'm tempted with watercooling so I'll be watching this space on Monday *subscribed*

Haha yeah, but atm I'm getting solid 60fps on full settings on all my games. Maybe when I get a better screen I'll take a look at OC'ing.

So far so good, sitting at 28c Idle and max I've seen under load was 55c which is pretty impressive for Haswell.
That's without an overclock though.

I haven't forgotten about this guys :D
Just been crazy busy as usual.

Sneak peak for you guys...The cooler is incredible...Its a little bit loud for my liking but its keeping my 4770K @ 4.4Ghz 29c idle and max I've seen under load was 56c in Diablo 3 after about an hours play. That is pretty damn impressive for Haswell.

Wow, that really isn't bad at all.

Have you run a P95 test yet?

And we're still waiting on pics...

Lol yeah, "now."

Well I've been struggling to get the pic uploaded because the forum up loader is rubbish.

I have the NZXT Switch 810 chassis so I can easily do a push pull here.

Still contemplating on a closed loop or an XSPC 360 kit.

I built a full watercooled rig for Rebeltech over the weekend and honestly its amazing but man it cost a fortune. All and all around R5800 for the loop I did for them.

Can't go wrong with this Antec though, its glorious!!
