I wrote it last week, sent you 3 thank you's :p

Without your help it would have gone worse, there was just 2 questions I struggled with, one about the general deduction formula - at the point I got to that question I was getting tired so I thumb sucked a bit. The other part was about how long does a non resident need to be in the country to count as a resident - I just hit a lovely blank on that. Fortunately they both where only 10 marks each, so the thumb sucking should score me some points.

The CGT was easy peasy

as well as the taxable income calculations and the final tax liability. They even made it easy since the guy was over 65, hence the medical tax part was peanuts to do :D

I just gave a lot of this is why you this no and this is why that is excluded and so forth as well. since they wanted to see that.

And just to be annoying it's

> 91 days in each of the 5 preceding years
> 915 days aggregate for the 5 preceding years

That's great, like I said tax is mostly exam technique, if you walk in with a plan your will pass.
