Haha! I actually just checked the front page for the first time in a while, and entered AoE. Then noticed I already entered it!

I am really torn about the practise. I skipped the Skyrim bundle, but noticed others owning still entering. So, I entered Borderlands 2 while already owning the base game. If you guys feel it is not cricket, then I will withdraw. No biggie :)

Maybe we should set a precedent to follow? Own the base game, then dont enter? Or do we leave it up to the GA creator?

I would also like to enter for the DLCs as I haven't played the game much, but decided not to. It's difficult for a game like this because eventually the cost of the DLCs far outweigh the cost of the game. The same thing with Skyrim.
 
Well you guys won't be guilt tripping me into withdrawing my entry just because I have the base game! Only person who's opinion make a difference to me is the GA creator of the item in question...and he happened to win my (admittedly epic) giveaway...so I think I am very comfortable here with my entry :D :D :D
 
personally, i don't really mind if people with base game enter for the DLC. often times, the DLC is worth quite a lot :)

but i guess its up to the relevant GA creator to specify whether or not this is an issue, and the group should abide by their decision.

I'll try that but i took one of the smaller games i have which i know hasn't had an update for a while and it still wanted to download the whole game. and has there realy been a 5.8gb update to dota in the last 3 weeks? cos that's what mine wants to download

I bought the game in the Humble store last year, not realising I already owned it on Steam. Just got the Humble Bundle support guys to unlink it from my account, so that I can give it to someone else. :D
