Civilization: Beyond Earth

Nice!

Looking forward to this one. Just hope they do a better job with the multiplayer at release than they did with Civ V.

It looks rather good! I was watching videos from the Yogscast playing and getting tips from the developers and there are some cool things they put in, looks exciting!
 
This looks like I should be awesome. Always enjoyed a little civvies.

Civ 5 was pretty good, since it incorporated some of the features of 4 but wasn't too in-depth. After the expac it was even better, so I think they have a nice standard to work from.
 
The tech web idea seems interesting.

At least it will force different player to be more focused on their goals. Some people try to research the entire tree in Civ 5...
 
I'm not a RTS/Turn based player, no brains, but this really has my interested....think I might just try this.

Just wondering about the turn based idea...

And also, price is $49.99 where most AAA games goes for R59.99 or higher these days.

Don't worry, they will make up for it with 2 expansions at 29.99$ each.

"Borrow" a friends copy of Civ5 and give it a spin to see if you can get into 4x TBS. Let us know when you go to bed at 2am because you just had to complete one more turn.

Civ 5 might be the most recent example, but Beyond Earth will likely be way more like Alpha Centauri. The game actually still runs on Win 7, and is still a bucket load of fun!
