I feel no sympathy for someone who is, um, naive enough to buy anything from from Russia, let alone a CD key for a game. The key might be a real COD key, but that doesn't mean it is legal. Where do you think they got those keys? Do you really believe that they were obtained legally from a recognised vendor? Really, honestly believe that?
I realise this is off topic, but seeing as how we have established that you are wrong in your accusations regarding the peering issue, I now feel the need to go on about your buying habits. The First COD:BO CD I tried to use said that "this key is already registered to another steam account" you can imagine how pissed off I was. I went back to musica and asked for a replacement. The one cashier didn't understand why but another one understood about keys and I got a replacement case with a key that was fresh.
Now somebody had already used that first key I tried without paying for the game.
