Allow me to introduce you to Fry's. You can find their food in any Pick 'n Pay or Spar. I also eat cheeses, yoghurts and drink soy milk (I love soy milk :D) so protein isn't a concern. Actually, it hasn't often crossed my mind. Chickpeas (can you say falafels?) and lentils (patties or added into lasagne, pasta, etc) are also part of my diet.
Mostly, I'm a pizza whore, though. Gorgonzola, peppadew, onions, mushrooms, cheddar, feta, garlic, chilli and sun-dried tomatoes being my favourite toppings :)
I actually haven't thought of meat in a long time. Fry's makes excellent crispy faux chicken patties, fantastic faux polony and a bunch of other stuff. I'm quite partial to their strips in wraps :)
