Yes ... all three seasons - loved it. I've got the first season on DVD :)
Again though, it's one of those series that's hard to really recommend to people :p

yes that is true, a strange I idea of a series. I watched the first season and had to watch one after the other to get the story.
Just watched the 6th episode of break blade (broken blade) if you like mecca with a twist watch this. all I can say is now I have to read the manga to get more of the story line. did i mention that each episode is about 60 min, its like 6 mini movies awesome!
Ummm ... no. Not ever. It's popular, certainly, but popularity doesn't indicate quality.
It's probably also responsible for a lot of people not being able to get away from the "anime is for kids" mindset.
Finally - with that being said - I hate Dragonball Z. With a passion.
More like the fights being drawn out. My nephew was watching it the one day ... and people were fighting (or rather, busy explaining to his enemy why he was about to die horribly). Walked past the TV a week later, and I see the same people fighting. When I asked him about it, it turns out it was the same fight. I was like "Holy crap, do they ever stop talking and throw an actual punch?"
Turns out I missed that episode's punch by a minute or so.
It's one of the reasons I'm not terribly fond of Naruto and Bleach either, despite having watched both. They spend to much time talking about what they're doing, what they're going to do, why their opponent's previous attack didn't end the fight, and then, of course, explaining why their next attack is going to make their opponent die horribly - like, seriously - stop mouthing off and deck the bloke already. And then, surprise surprise, their opponent doesn't die horribly, and they take the cue and start the cycle again in the opposite direction.
And this goes on for 3 or 4 episodes, and then in the final episode a mosquito sneezes and someone is distracted at a critical moment, and despite resisting attacks that took out the local mountain range, someone is knocked out by the weakest attack on the planet.
Always happy to help :)
