Hanasaku Iroha. Seriously, watch it.
Watched episode 4 of Akame Ga Kill....woah, I wanna see more of Akame now!! :)
Picked up Aldoah Zero and Zankyou no Terror....I am loving both of these anime's...Finished Suisei no Gargantia, it was great, I loved the story.
Terror is a very good show just be warned it is going to pace itself very well so expect developments to come a little slower than what you are expecting.

Hanasaku Iroha, should give it a watch. It's a slice of life coming of age teen romance drama. Now don't let that scare you I found it quite entertaining. The cookie cutter characters are to be expected from a show like this but they fell into place quite well. I never felt droning or boring even though the latter episodes, and I actually watched it in earnest without taking a break. Give it a watch you won't be disappointed.
If you have not started watching Zankyou no Terror, then start now. It's ShinichirÅ Watanabe's latest creation and it is wickedly smooth. Watanabe must have watched Death Note and thought to himself what if I could make something similar but based on realism? The answer to that is Terror in resonance.
Every episode up till now oozed class with it's dialogue, animation, characters and story, it truly feels like Death Note but it still is different, perhaps I should watch more before I create presumptions based on a show that is only 5 episodes into it's life. The latest episode aired tonight and it just dropped a bombshell of suspense on it's viewers (myself included).
So, before I feast on the mecha anime suggested, I decided to check out this Hunter x Hunter thing he keeps harping on about... 2 episodes in this feels like standard fare Shonen (not necessarily complaining about that). How good is it, Glordit? The 2 episodes I've seen have me intrigued.
Sorry for the late reply was at work until about 15 minutes ago.
Right! Hunter x Hunter.
While it is a shonen show much like Bleach, One Piece and Naruto, alas why do I think HxH is just so much more?
The characters themselves make the show so magical (most of the gif's I have posted are from the lighter side of the show) and I really appreciate the work Yoshihiro Togashi and MADHOUSE has put into the series to make it a cut above the rest.
Initially it's a bit slow as they introduce many of the characters but, the pacing is very well done with nail biting build ups to extremely satisfying fights. I can speculate that from the Yorknew Arc (episode ~39) it starts to get very good with a huge climax at the end of the Chimera Ant arc.
I also appreciated how every character is treated more or less the same, even lesser characters have vital parts to play and they are very rarely forgotten. Of Course unless they are used as a means to an end. Even the less predominant characters are smooth and very likeable. I don't believe I have disliked one yet, while initially you think 'Oh here comes another plot mechanic to push the main characters into a new plateau of power and thusly move the story', there is always something else going on in the background. Even the antagonists are enjoyable and at some point they even get their own screen time which was quite a treat to watch.
Plus the soundtrack is J-pop at it's best.
PS if you do watch it, let me know how you felt at the end of the Chimera ant arc, your thoughts and emotions may be tossed in a state of despair.
