Day one purchase for me.
For me it depends on the competitive posibilities of the game.
I am not sure what the rules are when it comes to linking to other sites but here is a link to an article discussing whether Brink can be competitive or not.

Well as far as my research has shown, there will be dedicated servers.So might be worth spending time on, main pulling point for me is the RPG type elements.
I can't wait ! looking forward to some nice ET game play again. :)
They announced today that the "Dedicated server files will be freely available", so there should not be a shortage of servers on release day.
Finances, for some odd reason I decided to buy two Xbox360 controllers for the PC once and for all. No more hassle with emulating my existing controllers and pretending I'm playing with one.
Hopefully Brink will have staying power so that I can take my time to get it...
I will see how it fares after release. Don't want to buy into another game that lasts all of a week and then only ten okes are still playing and with the Witcher 2 coming out I might not have time anyway. :)

Yeah that's my problem as well. I'm definitely getting Brink on release day, but now that I will have a PC capable of running Witcher 2, I don't know if I'll still play Brink all that much when I get Witcher. I'll have to divide my time between the PC and PS3.Quote:

We will obviously look at hosting servers for this as apprently the server tools will be available on Steam the same time the game releases.

Easiest is to just use mibbit.com if you dont want to install any irc client.
