Its been too long since we got a decent team orientated shooter. Looking forward to it.
After watching the GT.com review i think, even though it didn't deliver on all its promises, its well worth a shot. There is too much COD-like or BF-like or Halo-like fpses out there. Brink does the brave thing and tries something relatively different, yes its like TF2, but its not TF2 and anygame that rewards the team over the individual is doing something right in my book.
Wow....very disappointing. I will be skipping this one without any curiosity.
:wtf:  :(
Why such kak scores?
/sieves meths through brown bread
/this just ruined my week!
Because it's not COD, BF or Halo. It is a purely team orientated game.
There is a link on my fb profile to the GT.com video review. Go check it out, it gives it 7.9 saying that there are worse team orientated shooters. Im still getting it, hope you do also, been too long since we had a decent mp focused game.
I don't think that's the reason at all.
Some of the reviews I read were quite honest, actually. Flawed gameplay is something I can't and won't put myself through. Punishing players for not playing it the way the game developers thought you have to play it? Hell no.
If I want to play as a certain class and stick with it, why the hell can't I? I'm also getting tired of games where you get points for breathing, jumping and looking around. Seriously..
This game had a lot of potential on paper, but it seems that they kinda screwed it up and didn't make it half as cool as it promised to be. I'd still rate TF2 would be way more fun to play than this game.
I'm (probably) still getting it. I must admit I am a bit sceptical now, but I'd like to try it for myself and make up my own mind. Reviews are totally subjective after all. Who knows, I might just love it.
I am disappoint.
It's just that I'm starting to trust my gut feeling about games more and more these days. Like with Homefront, something told me "Man, this is going to be so not worth it". And guess what? I was an idiot and I went and bought the damn game. Now I regret it, but at least I know my gut was right. Trial and error man. I know I'm not going to like this and thus, I'm not getting it!
It looks boring, to be honest. And I like team based games!
