Hi Guys and Gals,
I just wanted to know if anybody else experience any issues with there consoles after updating to the lastest firmware?
It downloaded without any issues and installed but after that my PS (Slim line) some how froze up not displaying any picture. After turning off both the PS and the tv (32inch LG LCD) things seem to be working but now it doesnt pick up my USD flash?? Yet using flash on my PC is fine???
Any help will be much appreciated...:confused:

Make sure the flash drive is formatted in FAT32. PS3 will not read it otherwise.
Sorry there guys its USB i mean, it is FAT32 came from a friends place copied some things onto the flash from his PS3 (Slim line too) without any issues then came home tried mine and doesnt pick it up? Removed and reinserted a few times same thing will try again tonight after the console been off all day....
My PS3 has some issues with ubs sticks. It doesnt pick mine up at all unless I turn the ps3 on while the usb is already inserted into it. But that's always been like that, its not update related. Thought that might help.

Have you tried any other usb device like a camera or another flash drive on that port. Could it be the port thats faulty. also do you mean its not coming up as an option on the menu or you can see the option just not the files?
was kinda hoping for skype in this next release.......oh well
I downloaded and installed had no problems since!
Sony said that any errors were few and far between.

I've had no troubles with my console since the update, and it's picking up USB drives fine
