Thank you Alan. I understand why you guys are upset but you have to remember that reviews are never objective! I'm sure there have been many reviews you guys have felt strongly for and against. For all we know, he might not even review the games. He probably gets a script from someone and has to run with it.
However, there are always more positive ways to go about it. Look at Grant Hinds' reviews on Gamestate. He always did a great job breaking down the game into its pro's and con's, as opposed to what he enjoyed and what he hated. Perhaps Thomas Gumede (or his writer) needs more experience into the game world where they can separate the good fundamentals from the bad.
Look i'm not saying he isn't entitled to his opinion, but I don't watch a computer game show to listen to someone tell me how crap an entire genre is. A reviewer is meant to compare things on an equal level. So if you are about to review or show a trailer of an RPG, compare it to other rpgs, instead of saying "well its an RPG so its shit". I don't watch a show of this nature for someones opinion, i watch the show so i can form my own opinion based on a unbiased representation of the product as possible.
