sa wow servers for cataclsym

hi i would just like to know if there are any sa servers or realms that i can join for cataclysm please let me know as i would like to start jamming as soon as possible if anyone could give me some directions or what i need to do to create an account it would be much appreciated thanks guys

Unfortunately I cant help with that. I pay for my server :) I actually have no idea how one would go about getting on the private servers. And I also dont want to know. Sorry that I cant help, I figured it was a problem with the installation or some such.

You should buy the game, get some game time either from the Blizz store, most gaming stores sells the game time cards or you can pay per month with your credit card (I use this option since Im lazy :P)

Once the game is installed you can pick any server you like, I know there is a large South African group on Lightbringer, both factions had a south african guild. Alliance is Braaivleis if im not mistaken and the horde side is Prophecy. So it all depends on what you feel like playing.

Ingame just type in /who Prophecy or /who Braaivleis and whisper them and ask them if you can join the guild.

private server for the looser, support and play on the real thing. Go Buy it.

Not to sure what you mean by realm?? You can choose which faction you want to be - Horde or Alliance

This is true, played private servers before I played the actual game, sort of fun but extremely buggy and lonely
The real servers however are polished, always filled with people and fun! :D
Did I mention the events totally make the game awesome?

It's a shame that game cards only last for fixed time periods and not how long people play on the actual game.

yo thanks for the help but i am not joining the private server darkside and i am joining lightbringer and i am going to pay but now the question for today is where should i create an account and where can i sign up for a 6 month contract or something actually i have no idea how to do any of those so please people feel empathy for the noob:D shot guys cheers

Jeez dude, go to the blizzard website europe. its not exactly hard, if you find it to hard to figure out how to create an account, i think you should step away from the computer.

I played private servers a while before I played on the real servers. They're fun if you don't mind the fact that they're illegal, most of them have constant rollbacks, meaning at least once a day you lose between 30 seconds or, at worst, 20 -30 minutes worth of progress. Not to mention bugs, broken quests, unfixed exploits, being disconnected during dungeons, etc. Sure, go for it. Awesome experience.

I've played wow since 2008, never on pvt servers, but as I've said before ... surely if you paid for your game + expansions, you should be allowed to play where you want. The monthly subs allows you to play on quality servers with support and bigger communities. (Aside from whether or not the prvt servers were attained legally or not)

I would enjoy faffing around on pvt servers to see what gear or mounts look like or toy around with boss tactics etc. if I could - sort of as a prvt test realm of sorts, obviously it'd never compare to paid-for servers.

I am not following, you saying something that is widely advertised is not illegal? If I am not mistaken they do not want to host local servers in South Africa due to piracy? ;)

You do realise Blizzard doesn't have a button labeled 'Shut down private servers', right? They actually have to track the servers down, and would then probably have to go through the whole 'Cease and desist" thing.

I know its not easy, but the big private servers have been around for years, just wondering
