Really!? OMG... I know. Typo. My Bad. :p

I don't really see Splinter Cell or Mass Effect as X360 exclusives since both of them are coming out on PC as well. I don't care about Halo, played Halo 3 and found it very "plastic". The same goes for Fable 3, Fable was awesome, but Fable 2 was sooo lame, I don't even wanna imagine what no. 3 is gonna be like. The only X360 exclusives I want to play are Alan Wake and Metro 2033 (not really a exclusive, but my PC will never be able to handle it).
Also, I really happen to like the PS3 controller way more than the X360 one. And no, I'm not a fanboy, had an X360 and will be buying a slim if it comes out. It's just more comfortable for me and I don't like the X360 controller's triggers (although the PS3 L2 & R2 "buttons" aren't really the best either).
@Breezy: Saying a PS3 owner can count the games he has completed on his hands has got to be the lamest comment in this thread ever. Did you forget about the PS1 & PS2, the SNES, PC, Gamecube, SEGA Dreamcast, and all other consoles that people have owned before getting a PS3? If you mean games they have finished on PS3 only, your comment is still lame. I have probably finished close to 40 or 50 games on my PS3 alone.
Oh, about the blu-ray drive. It's not only for movies. It also means games can fit onto one disc, instead of 3 or 4 dvd's with scaled down fmv's ala FFXIII. That's probably one of the biggest reasons you won't see Uncharted 2, Heavy Rain or GoW III on X360, as far as I know all of those games are larger than 30GB. I'd rather pay extra for a console that uses discs with way more storage space and are very hard to scratch than one where I would have to disc-swop the whole time and have my discs scratched by the console itself. My X360 scratched at least 4 or 5 of my games when I still had it.
WLAD for president..........
The minute a ps3 owner says something "truthful" (but its bad) we get labelled as fanbois what they forget is that we (well most of us) had been xbox owners but we the ones who SAW the light :D
Man some of you go on about the PS controller like it contorts your hands as soon as you tough it!? It is FAR from being as uncomfortable as you are making it out to be! Are you perhaps holding it upside down or something? *cough* The controller was fine for the PS2 generation, no one complained about how crap it was. Sure they needed to evolve it, but it is far from this horrible experience as some of you make it out to be.
Oh and Bree'Z', just your constant use of Z in that post makes it null and void in my mind at least. Never mind some of the other things you are claiming. I bet you don't even own a PS3.
And I am with Wlad on Halo. I really really tried to get into it. Force played through 1 and 2 in anticipation of 3. Got 3, played for a few hours, but the whole time I felt nothing. I think it is the multiplayer that people fall in love with? Sadly I am sick of FPS multiplayer games, so I am bias I guess.
I think it is good that both consoles, (well even the Wii), are doing so well. This gives variety and competition so they don't just rest on their laurels. This way we can all gain, ESPECIALLY us with more than one of them!
Hmmph , maybe I'm just used to it , But The PS1/PS2/PS3 Remote (seeing that they are all 90% the same) never hurt me -.-.
I found Halo to be an OK-ish game. Story was good, it looked good but the gameplay was meh at best. Never really gave it much thought...... till I played it multiplayer....... So much better than single player honestly.
And I really don't like the PS3 controller. People shouldn't take it personally. I never had a PS1 or PS2 so I never got used it. And in any case, I'll be getting the Logitech version when I can finally find a place that sells them.
Again it's everyone's personal opinion but to me, disc swapping doesn't seem like the spawn of Satan that everyone makes it out to be. I just don't understand how swapping discs every 4 or 5 hours will ruin the game for you?
Obviously it's nice not to, but is it honestly the end all of gaming?
I'd like to put into perspective just how much extra is extra. When I bought my Xbox a little less than a year ago I got, for the price of a PS3 at the time, the Xbox Pro (60GB), two controllers, a play and charge kit and 5 games(2 new 3 second-hand).
IMHO I got the better offer. Now if I was deciding to buy recently (like my cousin last week) and saw the deal at Pick n Pay ( he was all like "What do you think?" and I was like "WTF you waiting for!!!! I already got mine connected up!!") the PS3 would have been the obvious choice. BTW, my cousin didn't buy the PS3 from Pick n Pay........ he went to Game and got one there for R2150....... cheap bastard. :(
Extra HDD space is a win on the PS3, and an even bigger win is the ability to change your HDD without any hassles. I've got a 250GB drive at home just waiting to be slotted in my PS3.
And as for disc scratching I was patient enough to wait out the problems plaguing the Xbox in the beginning. Got myself a Jasper with the better DVD-Rom.
